Shady El Nahas

Shady is a -100kg athlete, born in Alexandria, Egypt.

Training at JCCC Judo Kai in Toronto, under the guidance of Ken Fukushima, Shady’s passion & skill became evident to all as he quickly made the ascension to the top of the National Ranking.

Shady exploded onto the World Tour in 2018 with several back to back Grand Slam podiums and has continued his electric form with recent success at IJF Grand Slam & Grand Prix events.

He currently resides in Montreal and trains at the Judo Canada National Training Centre and is well on course for qualifying for his first Olympic Games. The future looks bright for the Ontarian.
