Canada Winter Games
Canada Winter Games is the premier National multisport event for aspiring young athletes, held every two years, alternating summer and winter. The 2027 Canada Winter Games are being hosted by Quebec in the capitol city of Quebec City and will welcome over 3600 participants across 20 sports.

Judo is scheduled for week 1 (Feb 27-Mar 6) with both an individual and team tournament. Selection will take place at the Asahi Open on September 26th, 2026.
Selection Information - 2027 Canada Winter Games
Judo Ontario will select up to seven male and seven female athletes. The primary qualifying event is the 2026 Asahi Open on September 26. Athletes must compete in the Canada Winter Games weight division in which they qualify. Additional selection priorities, eligibility requirements, injury provisions and mandatory team training activities are outlined in the selection criteria.
