Ontario athletes have been putting in some impressive performances at the recent round of Junior European Cups in Slovenia and Hungary, with Jumber Meladze and Lasha Tsatsalashvili bringing home two medals each. Both athletes are members of the Taifu Judo Club in Vaughan, with Jumber now training full time at the NTC in Montreal. Focused on Junior World Championships coming up in Coimbra (POR) in October, the athletes are moving up the rankings and looking to ensure a spot on the team.
