Three Judo Ontario athletes have been selected to compete at the 2021 IJF World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
Jessica Klimkait, Shady El Nahas and Mohab El Nahas will be competing at the event which begins on the June 6 until June 13.
The world championships will act as the final olympic qualification event for Tokyo 2021 and all three athletes have the opportunity to secure either direct qualification or continental quota qualification to book their place on Team Canada this summer.
Over the past few years the qualification period has been a long, hard journey for all athletes, coaches and supporters .
