Dear members,
Considering the current pandemic of the Covid-19 and following a President of Provincials and Territorials association meeting and their recommendation, the Board of Judo Canada unanimously agreed to end the 2019-2020 judo season including the cancellation of the 2020 Open Nationals.
No provincial and national activities will be organized until, at the earliest, August 1st. It is recommended that clubs rely on local public health recommendations before resuming their activity.
Judo Canada will work over the next few weeks for a strong return for a 2020-2021 season to meet the expectations and needs of the entire community.
Wishing that this crisis will end as quickly as possible, we invite you to remain vigilant, active and attentive to your own

Considérant la pandémie du COVID-19 et suite à une réunion des Présidents des fédérations provinciales et territoriales et à leur recommandation, il a été unanimement convenu par le conseil d’administration de Judo Canada de mettre fin à la saison sportive 2019-2020; incluant l’annulation du championnat Canadien Ouvert 2020.
Aucune activité provinciale et nationale ne sera organisée jusqu’au moins le 1er août prochain. Il est recommandé que les clubs se fient aux recommandations de la santé publique locale avant de reprendre leur activité.
Judo Canada, travaillera au cours des prochaines semaines au retour d’une saison 2020-2021 à la hauteur des attentes et besoins de l’ensemble de la communauté.
Souhaitant que cette crise soit terminée le plus rapidement possible nous vous invitons à rester vigilant, actif et à l’écoute des vôtres.
