Job Description:
Are you looking for a challenging summer work experience in the field of amateur provincial sports? By joining Judo Ontario, you will develop essential skills and gain valuable experience in the sport association and not-for-profit sectors.
 
About Judo Ontario
Judo Ontario is the governing body for the sport of judo in the province of Ontario. There are almost 3,000 members participating in the sport in over 100 clubs in every region of the province.
 
Tasks and Responsibilities:
May include, but not be limited to:
-Assist with daily tasks including, but not limited to office administration, research, member services, project support and policy development support.
-Proactively research existing and required policies and procedures for Judo Ontario.
 
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
-Attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner.
-High energy with the ability to remain focused on goals.
-Basic proficiency with computers and MS-Office.
 
Starting Date: Flexible
Completion Date: Flexible
Terms: Flexible 7 week period between June 1st and September 5, 2011
Maximum: 34 days x 7.25 hrs. per day
$10.25 per hr.
