Elections Voting Preferences

As you know, the Judo Ontario Constitution was changed at last year’s meeting to incorporate online voting to help encourage more members to vote.  We would like to give everyone time to prepare for the switch to online voting.  Preferences and e-mail address updates must be in the Judo Ontario system by July 9, 2017.

The Judo Ontario system has been modified to allow Yudansha members to set their voting preferences. By default, the system has been set to “E-mail My Ballot (Vote Online)” where ballots are sent by e-mail and the actual voting is done online.  However, every Yudansha member wishing to vote online, MUST have a unique e-mail address in the Judo Ontario system (meaning they do not share an e-mail address with another black belt member) or risk losing the opportunity to vote online.  For those wishing to vote by hard-copy mail, here’s how to edit your voting preference:

1.       Log-in

2.       Click "View/Edit My Profile" link in the right margin

3.       Click the "Edit my Judo Profile" link at the bottom of the main part of the screen

4.       The voting preference field is at the bottom of the profile.  Select “Mail My Ballot (Mail-in Vote)”

5.       Click the "Save Changes" button

For those that need a new e-mail address, we suggest signing up for a free Gmail account from Google.  See link to instructions from Google below.
