2012 Judo Ontario Elections Notice

Dear Yudansha Members and Dojo Shus.

Summer is here and I hope that you and your students are taking advantage of one of the many judo camps being offered to hone your judo skills. Before we know it, we will be starting our new competition year on September 1, 2012. Which brings me to this point, the 2012 Judo Ontario AGM, Constitution Meeting and Elections will take place on Sunday, September 9, 2012.

The Election Committee overseeing this year’s Board elections is committed to a smooth and transparent electoral process and consists of Frank Vossen – Chair, Eric Boutin, and Tom Kasprzyk.

Please review the important information contained in this package and take the time to carefully read the instructions.

Pay careful attention to all deadlines and the requirements to ensure that any declaration of candidacy is valid.

This package includes the following (click the document names to download):

  1. Official Notice of Judo Ontario AGM, Constitution Meeting and Elections
  2. Declaration of Candidacy Forms and related deadlines for submissions.
  3. Board Job Descriptions: President, Treasurer, VP-Operations, VP-Technical, *VP-Regions.

*The VP-Regions is elected by and from amongst the Regional Directors.

  1. Voting: What You Need to Know: Mudansha (Associate member) voting numbers for Dojo Shus

Judo Ontario will publish a list of all candidates and distribute election voting materials at least 30 days prior to the election date.
