Douglas, Lonsdale, Young, and El Nahas are Golden at Elite Nationals

 

   Montreal, January 14, 2018 — Olympic athletes Antoine Valois-FortierAntoine Bouchard, and Catherine Beauchemin-Pinard were amongst the 200 judokas registered at the 2018 Elite Invitational in Montreal on January 13–14, 2018. The event featured the 8 best Canadian athletes in their respective categories, male and female, from 9 provinces and territories.

The competition was held at La TOHU, renowned as one of the world’s best venue for circus arts. Spectators were able see Canada’s best judokas in action from all angles in the circular venue.

 

Judo Ontario would like to congratulate the athletes, coaches and families for the impressive results netting 15 medals over the two day Elite National Championship.
